If you want to fly in the 7th. Virtual Aerobatic Championships 2009, you have to decide in which class you want to fly:

- P rimary

1. ) Go to the section "Aerobatic box" and download the scenery for your chosen class and version of MSFS. Install the scenery into your MS Flight Simulator.

2. ) Go to the section "Flight recorder" and install this program into your flight simulator (Only for FS2004 and FSX - if using FS2002, use the MS standard Flight Video function).

3. ) Having qualified, the next important date is the 16th of August, when the Unknown Compulsories will be published on this site.

4. ) Send your recorded Unknown1 and Unknown2 flights by the 23th of August.

5. ) The final results will be published after I have marked all the unknown flights. The Q-Program score does NOT count in the competition results! Please let me some time to do this. It takes a lot(!) spare time.

6. ) All pilots over all classes can attend the 4 Minutes Free-Style event. If you wish to enter, you must send in your flight by the 23th of August.

- S portsman

1. ) Go to the section "Aerobatic box" and download the scenery for your chosen class and version of MSFS. Install the scenery into your MS Flight Simulator.

2. ) Go to the section "Sequences" and look for the Q-Program (Qualification-Program) of the Sportsman class.

3. ) Go to the section "Flight recorder" and install this program into your flight simulator (Only for FS2004 and FSX - if using FS2002, use the MS standard Flight Video function).

4. ) Record your Q-Program with the flight recorder (or the build-in Flight Video function) and send it to me as soon as you think you make more than 50%.

(For previous entrants only: You don't need to send the Q-Program if you already flow Sportsman before.)

5. ) If you score at least 50%, you are qualified to fly in your chosen class. If you don't make it, you will have to enter a lower class. Make sure that you install the correct "Aerobatic box" for your new class if necessary, then record and send in another Q-Program video for this class.

6. ) Having qualified, the next important date is the 16th of August, when the Unknown Compulsories will be published on this site.

7. ) Send your recorded Unknown1 and Unknown2 flights by the 23th of August.

8. ) The final results will be published after I have marked all the unknown flights. The Q-Program score does NOT count in the competition results! Please let me some time to do this. It takes a lot(!) spare time.

- U nlimited

1. ) Go to the section "Aerobatic box" and download the scenery for your chosen class and version of MSFS. Install the scenery into your MS Flight Simulator.

2. ) Go to the section "Sequences" and look for the Q-Program (Qualification-Program) of your Unlimited class.

3. ) Go to the section "Flight recorder" and install this program into your flight simulator (Only for FS2004 and FSX - if using FS2002, use the MS standard Flight Video function).

4. ) Record your Q-Program with the flight recorder (or the build-in Flight Video function) and send it to me as soon as you think you make more than 50%.

(For previous entrants only: You don't need to send the Q-Program if you already flow Intermediate, Advanced or Unlimited before.)

5. ) If you score at least 50%, you are qualified to fly in your chosen class. If you don't make it, you will have to enter a lower class. Make sure that you install the correct "Aerobatic box" for your new class if necessary, then record and send in another Q-Program video for this class.

6. ) You have to send your own designed Free-Program by the  9th of August at the latest, so that I can check it for errors. Only the sheet, not the video.
Since we fly Unlimited rules you can use the full range of the catalog. But there are rules:

Family 1: At least one figure
Family 2: One from 2.5 to 2.15 or from 2.17 to 2.20
Family 5: One to three figures
Family 6: At least one figure
Family 7: At least one figure
Family 8: At least one figure, but not more than 4 figures from 8.1 to 8.4
Family 9.9 & 9.10: At least two from each sub-family (9.9 and 9.10)
Family 9.11 & 9.12: Exactlty one figure from 9.11 or 9.12.
Opposite roll combination: at least one.

Maximum total K: 420
Maximum number of figures: 9

I know there is a problem to some of the figures like the tail-slide. If you have such problem put every "bad" figure into the last figure of the sequence and don't fly it. You will get a HZ for the last one but well... everyone has to go through this.

You can use OLAN - Sequence painting for the design.

7. ) Send up to five figure suggestions for the two unknowns until the 9th of August.
The figures must have a minimum of 15 k each.
All figures must be taken from the Sporting Code Section 6 Powered Aircraft Section 9.
No catalog number for the figures (per sequence) can be equal to each other.
There are some other rules described in section 9 with excludes some combinations.

Send something like the following:
Unknown 1: Fig1: xxxx Fig2: xxxx Fig3: xxxx Fig4: xxxx Fig5: xxxx
Unknown 2: FigA: xxxx FigB: xxxx FigC: xxxx FigD: xxxx FigE: xxxx

I will choose the 10 final figures for the unknowns by random selection and as close as possible to the rules.
Up to 4 simple figures can be added to make a sequence out of the figures.

8. ) Having qualified, the next important date is the 16th of August, when the Unknown Compulsories will be published on this site.

9. ) Send your recorded Free, Unknown1 and Unknown2 flights by the 23th of August.

10. ) The final results will be published after I have marked all the free and unknown flights. The Q-Program score does NOT count in the competition results! Please let me some time to do this. It takes a lot(!) spare time.

11. ) All pilots over all classes can attend the 4 Minutes Free-Style event. If you wish to enter, you must send in your flight by the 23th. of August.
