If you want to fly in the 5th. Virtual Aerobatic Championships 2007, you have to decide in which class you want to fly (follow each of the steps which include the relevant bold letter for your class):

- P rimary
- S portsman
- I ntermediate
- A dvanced
- U nlimited

(If you have trouble because of your vacation plans, please contact me as soon as possible.)

1. PSIAU) Go to the section "Aerobatic box" and download the scenery for your chosen class and version of MSFS. Install the scenery into your MS Flight Simulator.

2. SIAU) Go to the section "Sequences" and look for the Q-Program (Qualification-Program) of your choosen class. (*)

3. PSIAU) Go to the section "Flight recorder" and install this program into your flight simulator (Only for FS2004 - if using FS2002, use the MS standard Flight Video function).

4. SIAU) Record your Q-Program with the flight recorder (or the build-in Flight Video function) and send it to me by the 19th. October 2007.

(For previous entrants only: You don't need to send the Q-Program if you have already scored more than 50% in one of the competitions in the past. Check the score of your previous entry under "Virtual Pilots ")

5. SIAU) If you score at least 50%, you are qualified to fly in your chosen class. If you don't make it, you will have to enter a lower class. Make sure that you install the correct "Aerobatic box" for your new class if necessary, then record and send in another Q-Program video for this class.

6. IAU ) You have to send your own designed Free-Program by the  19th. October 2007. at the latest, so that I can check it for errors. (Alternatively, you can choose one of the example sequences in the section "Sequences")

7. PSIAU ) Having qualified, the next important date is the 20th. October 2007, when the Unknown Compulsories will be published on this site.

8. IAU) The Free-Program Video-File must be sent in by the 31th. October 2007.

9. PSIAU ) Send in your recorded flights for the Unknown Compulsories by the 31th. October 2007.

10. PSIAU) The final results will be published after I have marked all the unknown flights. The Q-Program score does NOT count in the competition results!

11. PSIAU) The best 10 pilots over all classes (not percentages, but actual points!) can attend the 4 Minutes Free-Style event. If you wish to enter, you must send in your flight by the 9th November 2007 .

*NOTE: If you opt to fly in the Primary class, you do not need to fly a Q-Program.

If you send in your Q-Program flight (or, in the case of the Primary class, the first unknown program), please also send the following information:

Subject: flightXtreme - Championship entry

Name: (do not use a nickname here, your first name and your last name is sufficient)
Class: (Primary, Sportsman, Intermediate, Advanced, Unlimited)
Sim: (FS9 or FS2002)
Aircraft: (registration and aircraft name)
Email: (your email address)
Address: (your postal address, if I find a sponsor there will be prices for the winners...)
