An Introduction to Myself
| Hi everyone, my name is Michael Garbers. I started the flightXtreme site a
couple of years ago, after getting bored of the usual FMC programming and
sight-seeing flights. A lot has happened in that time: I have now
held three Virtual Aerobatics Championships, written articles about
virtual aerobatics for the Austrian flight simulation magazine
FlightXPress and have been in contact with the real aerobatic
pilots throught German
Aerobatics. I judged on the real German championship this year in
Dinslaken-Schwarze Heide and now I am also the webmaster of German
Aerobatics. |

My interest with virtual aerobatics is still as strong as ever, especially when
I see how the skill of all the pilots entering the competition has grown over
the years! So if you are new to virtual aerobatics and want to find out more,
here is a short explanation of all the sections on this page.
FlightXtreme: A guide to the topics
Virtual Aerobatic World Championships: Every year there is
a competition, so you are welcome to join! But have a look first at the other
sections so that you are well prepared.
Rules: A general rules section for the virtual
aerobatics. This is an important section if you want to do competition
flying. We fly the Virtual Aerobatic Championships as close to the
real-life as possible! In general we use the official rules from the
FAI.
Training: Here I offer you some resources for your
training. I also explain things like the Aresti Catalog and how to build a
free-program. But even if you don't want to enter the competition you
should take a look at this section.
Other: This section contains everything else which
does not fit into the other topics. Here you will find links to interesting
pages and some older stuff from the former web pages.
